Extremely Painful Throat

Lately the right side of my throat has been burning, likely swollen, and it even hurts when I don't swallow.

I've no fever.

It's probably an infection or virus, which usually lasts about 2 days but for me it's been at least 4 days.

I'm afraid it might be tonsilitus (however you spell that) and that I'll have to have mine removed.

I've tried pills, gargling, extra sleep, avoiding spicy foods and etc. but nothing is helping. I just wake up to the same amount of pain.

I even get enough to drink, so I'm not dehydrated. I even drink more water than usual just to be sure.

This has seriously happened to me a month ago.
It hurt like shit, but it was over in a week and didn't turn out to be a tonsil disease, hope that helps..

Haha but really, if it was tonsolitus then your whole throat would be swollen. Does Ice Cream help at all?

Stereotypical stuff like drinking lots of water and getting rest would help. I'd also recommend scheduling an appointment right away.

I went to the doctors and he gave me a prescription to gety pills n shit which is gonna take 2 fucking days to have effect.

Nah just kiddin.

A bunch of red/dark pinkish bumps started appearing afterwards, it's been two days.

Might be something called 'something rosea' which is a harmless viral disease that causes this skin condition for about a week or so then vanishes.

Or it might be German measles. Either way I'm still pissed.
