The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

So this was the game that came before Oblivion. Similar to Fable, and other Adventure RPG's that involve quests, classes, character customization, random events, and much more.

When you start out you choose your name, your gender, your race, your customized look, your planetary sign, you skills (about 30-50 to choose from), and some other stuff. This game is so evolved, even though it is a single player game, it seems like a multi-player game because every single character has their own life, and background.

The game is so detailed, each villager has their own personality. You can become anything class wise. You can attack random villagers, steal their clothes, hide their body. But be careful, the guards will get on to you, and most villagers will not go down without a fight. Try not to steal from houses while people are looking either.

You can also obtain a job for gold, build or buy a house, an much, much more.
