If you didn't/don't buy it, you're a dumbass, to say the least. I bought it so I have the mercenary badge (makes me somewhat of a veteran) and the proof of purchase. Plus now the servers are flooded with retarded newfags, I can't even view my items because the loadout server is full, let's just say this is the most idiotic thing Valve has ever done, besides delaying HL2 content by two years.

think of it this way people that were hesitant to buy it before now get to see if they like it then they just need to buy from the man co store to become premium thus increasing valves revenue
