Rise of the Planet of the Apes

I've read the book "Planet of the Apes" and watched all the movies. When I found this I got extremely excited. There's going to be a new Planet of the Apes movie!

Didn't the first one come out in the 1900's?
Thats a huge delay if thats true.

The first one came out in the 60's. It had like four sequels, then had one or two remakes and a TV series. This is going to be another remake.
