3D Modeling Topic
Post all 3D models you want to share. They can be for Blockland, another game, or just have been made for fun.

This is a banana I made a loooooong time ago, when I just discovered SketchUp. I had no idea how to extrude so it was flat.

A golf club from an abandoned weapon BuildaBox and I were going to make.

An early version from the map "Combat Cityscape" Nasoa and I were going to make. I had to leave the project because TC was fucked up, but now that it's fixed I'd like to work with Nasoa again. I still feel very bad about having to put an end to our project.

A "LightDildo Dagger" I was making as a spin-off of the Lightsaber add-ons on RTB. Very old project, not even sure if I still have the model.
EDIT: Updated pic. Looks better.

I'm pretty much the only one here that can really make an add-on, but I'm sure the rest of you can at least use SketchUp.S7UFF 1T N003 wrote:You're kidding, right?

The room is too small for anyone to have a comfortable office in..
You would fall over the chair, knock over your monitor, then the monitor would explode, then shrapnel would impale your face and then everything would explode and the cycle begins once more.

What? I can make add-ons. I can't model with blender, but I can with TC.
Haven't tried Sketchup.
Is it easy?
I know it costs money for the full version.
Hax Meeger?
Re: 3D Modeling Topic
It's easy if you know what you're doing. You'll need the OBJ exporter to get it into MilkShape (only $40) at which point you have to add joints, scale the model, and parent the textures to their static meshes.Gothboy77 wrote:Mega Bear wrote:

Re: 3D Modeling Topic
I can officially say that I don't model at all, as it would be used for a game that I hardly play anymore anyway.
Blender looks hard as fuck though.

The only thing I can do with blender is basic stuff.
Such as adding and renaming textures, re-sizing, putting basic shapes together,
and exporting/packaging.
I got Sketchup, but havent tried it yut.
Re: 3D Modeling Topic
Mapping project I'm working on. The barn alone took two days of off-and-on work, the silos, fences, etc. will take ages. I'm working pretty hard on this though.
The little white dot in front of the doors (kind of hard to see, but it's like a centimeter in front of the one to the left) is a blockhead. Yep, this is human-sized.
