How to convert MP3 files to OGG(so it works with blockland)
Ahem. now that my gray posting glich is gone. i can do this tutorial for peoples who need it...
Blockland only accepts OGG files for music and sounds and does not work with MP3 or WAV sounds. Before you freak out, its very easy to convert music to OGG.
1. Download audacity. useful for many things. Click here to go to the site i downloaded it from I am using the 1.3 beta verson so i suggest you use it too. Click on your operating device. Then click the underlined Download
2. Once its downloaded. Open it and wait a few seconds for it to open.
3. Once its open, Click file then click on open. then search for the song you wish to use and open it
4. Now click on the select tool (Looks like an I.) and click and drag your mouse on the whole song. (its easier to do it from end to start)
5. On the left of the first box click on the little down arrow and a box will drop down. Then click on spilt stereo track. there should be 2 boxes after that
6. On the same arrow list. Click on mono and do the same for the other box. This is REQUIRED
7. Click on file again. Then click on export as Ogg vorbis. (this will convert it to OGG)
7.5. Once you get the pop up of where to save it to. you have 2 options. You can save it directly to C:\Blockland\Add-Ons\Music. OR you could save it some where else and put it in blockland later (or whatever else you need to put it in. If you have games that let you put in your own OGG music)
8.Pat yourself on the back. you can now use that music for whatever you feel like
TRIMMING:

A lot of the time. Your music will be to big and will be ignored by blockland's console. (it has to be under 1MB for it to be loaded onto music bricks. It will still work on client sided music players.) So you'll need to trim it to make it under 1MB.
1. Select the select tool (looks like an I) on the left of the toolbar. Then drag over your favorite part of the song. You will probably need to keep it under 45-60 seconds (depending on the song).
2. After that. Click on file Then click on EXPORT SELECTION AS OGG VORBIS. Do NOT do export as Ogg vorbis. this will just do the whole song again.
3. Save it somewhere inside a folder. Then when its done. Find and go into that folder and make sure the song is under 1MB (If it says KB next to the size its fine. It should be something under 1000KB (E.G: 999KB)
4. Move the song into your blockland/addons/music folder
Other notes/Music rules

-If you download Chrono advanced music player on RTB mod manager (under client sided mods) then bind it to something. You will be able to play music in any sever at an time. (client-sided of course) Which does include the song you just converted to OGG
-You will need to convert music to OGG if you want to make it downloadable for other people (Unless your "one of those people" who say figure it out yourself)
-The Music HAS to be under 1MB or else blockland will NOT LOAD it when you host a sever. (You can still use it with a client-side music player however.)
-You CANNOT export the music WHILE it is playing. Click on the stop button (A yellow square) first then try to export it
-There cannot be any spaces inside your music name. Having this will cause start a new game to crash blockland and never load the new sever.
Example of a bad name for music: Operation Eagle
Example of a good name for music: Operation_Eagle
The game will automaticly replace _ with spaces so it would appear as Operation Eagle in game
I Hope this tutorial was helpful. If you ran into any problems. Please say so and i will try to explain it better so everyone doesn't have to have a problem
