RECRUITING FOR EPIC FORUM GAME

In a few days, I am going to create a topic in servers and societies for a select few (it's a group, that's why it will go in said forum). It will be where we emulate our own government, sort of like a forum-based Civilization 5, but with a little more options. To begin, use the following application:

Image of your country's land (divided up into cities. I recommend having numerous cities or you will be conquered fast, 12-16 should do well. Make sure to draw landforms! Mountains, valleys, rivers, and flat land will help you. Also, state how many square miles your country is. 100-500 square miles is prefferable. Image must be 800x600 pixels. Underline the capital!):

Resources (timber, silver, coal are highly recommended. They can be obtained from other players, but are used for vital parts of the game.):

Here's where it gets a little tricky. You begin with 1,000 people. Divide them up based on this criteria.

Soldiers (earn you land, can intimidate others. Recommended 500):
Civilians (earn you money at a rate of one dollar per person a day, multiply by 50% a day. Recommended 250):
Political figures (keep your government in order, prevents unwanted reformations that occur at 50 figures. Recommended 250):

Here's a quick summary of what the game will be like once I get it up and running:

Every week you get money based on your civilian population. I will update the topic daily with all players' balances. You can buy resources from other players, like iron for ammunition, wood for buildings, etc. You can invade other players' cities this way:

If you wish to attack and attempt to conquer a city, it must first be stated in the topic. An event will be held to decide the victor. There is one way to win:A toll of dice that I make. Additionally, you can buy cities for money, population, or resources.

You can also form embargos. In an embargo, you state to the world that you will not become involved with another nation in any way. This means you can't trade with the embargo'd nation or its allies. If you form an embargo, your allies are automatically embargo'd with the nation too.

The opposite of an embargo, an alliance, can also be formed. In an alliance, you and allied players defend each other, agree to help each other economically, and are basically a clique. You are evidently allowed to name alliances.

Trading may seem tricky, but it's easy to get the hang of. You get an amount of resources each week based on your civilian population. If i have, say two hundred civilians and there are coal mines and lumber camps in my nation, I get two hundred units of coal and lumber a week. Likewise for money, I'll get two hudred dollars a week. You can trade units of resources for money, trade money for population, and pay people to join your alliance.

Population keeps your nation afloat in the world. If you don't have enough political figures, each week I will roll a set of dice to decide whether or not one of your cities rebels and joins another nation. These are political uprisings. Civilians are also very important. They decide how much money and resources you get a week. If a city is taken over, you lose 7% of your civilians. Soldiers can prevent this. If someone invades your city, we as stated before will battle in Blockland to decide who wins. The amount of soldiers you have decides what T+T weapons you get in the Blockland battle.

Resources. The amount of iron you have decides, alongside soldiers, the kind of weapons you get. Timber decides how fit your base and it's defences will be. Coal is required to prevent political uprisings along with political figures. Dafrandle and I both did a good job by including these three MANDATORY resources. Gold helps with trading, but not much.

How will I keep track of it all? Each week I will update your money balance, resource amount, and population based on my equations. It will be smooth as butter.

WINNING THE GAME! There are a couple ways to win.
• Land Domination: Take over all nations through either combat or buying cities.
• Diplomatic Domination: After ten cities of any nationality have been taken over by any combination of players, I will open up a vote. The vote will list all the players and we will vote on who should win. To earn votes, you can give speeches about what you will do with the world after winning. To give a speech, just reply to the topic and let us know what the new govenrment will be like.
• Forfeit Domination: Have all other players forfeit. Note - forfeiting willcause your nation to disappear from the map, and all your resources, population, and money will vanish. Anything you were giving to people will be canceled, so if you were supplying someone with a weekly supply of coal due to their lack of mines, they now have to look elsewhere for it.

NEUTRAL: Copper, Gasoline, Kerosine, Tin, Aluminum, Sand, Natural Gasses, Beans, Iron, Salt, Wood

LOW: Coal, Oil, Gold, Diamond

We use wood mainly for burning, the air is clean and the environment is peaceful and seems young.
Peace is the main concern, and the military is not used much, but it packs a punch when it is.
The civilians are not afraid to speak their mind and are totally liberal. They can over throw the government when ever they want
but peace disrupters will be jailed. The people act as one and the country is almost completely unified.

ECONOMY: The economy does VERY well. Taxes are very low, and most people own their own land, grow their own food, and do stuff themselves.
Most of the country is sub-urban to country. Prices are never over exceeded unless there is a war going on. People do not use money as much as they use a barter system to maintain personal values and peace. If someone wants to actually sell something for cash they must go to the city, or trade over seas. The country is much isolated, but people like it that way.

When the forum game starts, I'll compile everything into a map and we can get started. There may not be many players by the looks of it, but this will still be fun. I look forward to playing with all of you.

Hm, I guess three days seems good. I named the game by the way; Brick Mania Global Federation. I was thinking this could become a regular thing we do, like every time we complete a game of it, we start a new one a few weeks later. Like a little festival.

Also, when I'm on vacation, I'll lock the topic so that we can pick up where we left off when I get back and there will be no issues. Sound good?

what about colonys thoe, empty land, also id say if theers not water around the intercontry it has to be conet to empty land or another contry in some way, also maby wild tribes in the non contry areas and resorses in theses areas too, also what era is this in
