I also just PM'd Nasoa saying that I like to work on maps alone, but I'm also going to start on a relatively famous map ... CS_Assault from CS:S.

EDIT: I also gave Nasoa the .csx of what I had done on the interior, so he may still make the map.

Creating all those hallways, rooms, snow, and textures would take days, maybe even weeks. In fact, now that I think of it, more than a month just to make the frame of the interior and add textures seems fitting.

With props = OVER 9000 YEARS.

If you want people to say you are the best, you need to work LIKE A BOSS.

I haven't even started on the interior for CS_Assault yet.

CS_Assault is very complex. Well, not the interior itself, but all the textures. Saving it for a later date. Working on a zombie themed map now.

TEST THE MAP

EDIT: Lol, don't download the map. The skybox was broken and I wanted to see if it was broken for all clients. I fixed it now, and am working on adding precipitation to the map for more of a gloomy effect.

I fell guilty about these double posts but ... finished a great map. I present to you all previews of Zombie Farmstead (not yet on RTB):

Don't attempt to swim to other shores (they're part of the skybox)! You are stuck on the zombie infested island until you die.

The map includes:
• Rain! Took me a little while to get the precipitation to work (requires some scripting, and quite a few texture files), but I did eventually get the hang of precipitation. Expect snow in later maps!
• Custom interiors! A ranch house, two silos, and a shed guarantee plenty of zany antics coming from blockheads.
• ZAPT in mind! The map is best for 2-6 player ZAPT games, fun with player zombies "versus" type gameplay, or small-scale survival games.

I will upload this map to RTB when the weekly top picks topic is updated, so that I can get as many downloads as possible and hopefully earn a place in the weekly top five. It's a witty, yet cruel trick for recognition!
